  1.      GENOA GVGA 6000 SERIES BOARDS DRIVER INSTALLATION
  2.           FOR MICROSOFT WINDOWS 3.0 & 3.1

  4. The following instructions are applicable to users of Microsoft Windows 3.X.
  5. Note: to use 800x600 or higher resolution modes, a multisync ANALOG
  6. monitor capable of synchronizing with these modes is required.
  7.  
  8. Follow the instructions listed below carefully to install the drivers.
  9.  
  10. Instructions:
  11.  
  12. 1. Follow Windows 3.0 or 3.1 setup procedures to install Windows. Run an
  13.    application program to make sure you have successfully installed Windows.
  14.  
  15. 2. Exit to DOS and put the "GENOA SuperVGA Utility Programs, DISK #2"
  16.    into floppy drive A. And then change directory to "a:\WIN3X".
  17.  
  18. 3. Run "INSTALL.EXE" and follow the program instructions.
  19.  
  20. 4. From the Windows 3.0 or 3.1 driectory, run "SETUP.EXE".
  21.  
  22. 5. Scroll through the display options until you find the Genoa GVGA display
  23.    options.  Select the appropriate display resolution.

  25. 6. Restart Windows.

  30. 1. The drivers support the following video modes:

  42. 2. If you wish to change the display type after completing the installation,
  43.    click on the Windows Setup icon found in the Main desktop window or run 
  44.    the "SETUP.EXE" program.
